Preparation: Sauté garlic & onion in oil until soft. Add tomato puree, seasonings and parmesean cheese. Simmer 1 hr stirring occasionally. Lightly brown meat, & crumble, then add to sauce mixture. Roll out bread dough in 2 circles 1/4" thick. Place on cookie sheet, pinch edges to form rim. Brush lightly with oil. Spread tomato sauce mixture. Top with mozzarella cheese. Bake at 425ºF for 20 minutes or until done. Serves 4-6 |
