Trio of Taco Fillings

Black Bean and Corn Chicken Taco Filling
Ingredients:
  • 1 fully cooked Rotisserie chicken
  • 1 16 ounce jar of Dei Fratelli Black Bean and Corn Salsa
  • ½ bunch Fresh cilantro or flat leaf parsley, chopped
  • Salt to taste
Preparation:
Remove skin from chicken.  Pull both white and dark meat of chicken into shreds. Discard skin and bones.  Mix Dei Fratelli Black Bean and Corn Salsa with shredded chicken. Heat mixture through.  Fold in chopped cilantro just before service.

Chipotle Roast Pork Taco Filling
Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds cooked Pork shoulder, shredded and drained or 3 pounds, either roasted or slow simmered
  • 1 16 ounce jar of Dei Fratelli Chipotle Salsa
  • ½ bunch fresh cilantro or flat leaf parsley chopped
  • Salt to taste
Preparation:
Mix shredded pork with Dei Fratelli Chipotle Salsa, heat mixture. Fold in chopped cilantro just before service.

Ground Beef Taco Filling
Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds 80/20 Ground beef
  • 1 14.5 ounce can of Dei Fratelli Chili Ready Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 14.5 ounce can of Dei Fratelli Chopped Mexican Style Diced Tomatoes
  • ½ bunch fresh cilantro or flat leaf parsley chopped
  • Salt to taste
Preparation:
Brown ground beef and drain fat. Add Dei Fratelli Chili Ready Diced Tomatoes and Dei Fratelli Chopped Mexican Style Diced Tomatoes to beef and simmer five minutes to flavor beef. Fold in chopped cilantro just before service.
